As coordinator of eduCentrum vzw, Isabel is responsible for writing project proposals. With the Fyxxi project, eduCentrum focuses on training teachers and students with new technology. The aim is to reach every child with the necessary 21st century and maker skills within a makerspace setting. They are part of the H2020 project DOIT (www.doit-europe.net). DOIT aims to embed social innovation, entrepreneurship and maker skills within Europe, for children and facilitators, both inside and outside of school hours. The suggested approach is empowering 6 to 16 years old children and youth to co-create solutions for social and environmental issues together with facilitators.
